Take Your Best Shot for Washington’s Future Workforce!

Gather your team and join the Trucking Foundation of Washington for an unforgettable day of friendly competition, industry camaraderie, and support for the next generation of trucking professionals!

The 2026 Sporting Clay Shoot Scholarship Fundraiser takes place Friday, September 11, at Landt Farms Sporting Clays in Nine Mile Falls—Eastern Washington’s premier sporting clays facility. Set against a beautiful natural backdrop just northwest of Spokane, the walking course features dynamic target patterns designed to simulate real bird flight, with challenges suited for beginners and experienced shooters alike.

Participants will compete in teams of five, moving through the course and taking on a variety of targets—including rabbit, chandelle, battue, mini, and springing teal presentations. Your day will also include breakfast, an awards lunch, prizes, and plenty of opportunities to connect with members of Washington’s trucking community.

Best of all, proceeds benefit the Trucking Foundation of Washington Scholarship Fund, helping students pursue CDL and diesel technician training at accredited programs throughout Washington.

Bring your colleagues, customers, or friends—and get ready to take your best shot for a great cause!

Don’t have your own shotgun? Rentals and ammunition are available onsite. Participants are encouraged to bring their own safety glasses and hearing protection for the most comfortable fit, though required protective equipment will be available. Landt Farms is a shotgun-only facility; hammer guns, single-shot guns, and pistol-grip shotguns without stocks are not permitted.
