Description
Each year, WTA hosts an annual Call on Washington (COW), where members travel to Washington, D.C. to meet with the Washington Congressional Delegation. COW is an opportunity for WTA’s membership to engage with Washington’s elected officials on specific trucking issues and to work closely with our national affiliate, American Trucking Associations. This is a unique chance for our members to see the inner workings of the legislative process at the federal level and to build relationships with their elected members of Congress.

Hotel Reservation Information
The ATA Event Services Department has established discounted rates with hotels in the immediate vicinity of headquarters for ATA guests and staff through 2024. Rates are valid for individual reservations and groups of up to ten (10) or fewer sleeping rooms per night. If you require more than ten (10) rooms per night, please contact Richelle Adams at ext. 7931 or radams@trucking.org.
The Washington, DC metropolitan area experiences high volumes of transient business, causing many hotels to sell out. For this reason, select hotel rates are subject to non-last room availability (NLRA), meaning that should the preferred rate not be available, the best available house rate will prevail. You are encouraged to make reservations as early as possible to secure rooms at discounted rates.
These discounted rates are valid for any bookings made on or before December 31, 2024.
