2026 Safety Management Council Field Trip (In-Person Only)

Join the Washington Trucking Associations' Safety Management Council (SMC) for our annual Summer Field Trip and July General Membership Meeting, hosted by WTA member Commercial Driver School (CDS Truck School) in Lakewood. The event begins with lunch and networking at 11:30 a.m. (pizza provided by the SMC), followed by the SMC General Membership Meeting from 12:00–1:00 p.m. After the meeting, attendees will tour the Commercial Driver School campus and learn more about its Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) program, workforce development efforts, and how the school is helping prepare the next generation of professional truck drivers.
