Join the Washington Trucking Associations for 2027 Trucking Day on the Hill and stand alongside fellow drivers, company owners, and industry partners to remind lawmakers how their decisions impact the people who keep Washington moving.

Each year, Washington's trucking industry comes together in Olympia to speak with one united voice. Trucking is the backbone of our state's economy—delivering the goods families rely on, supporting businesses of every size, and keeping communities connected. The decisions made in Olympia directly impact our ability to operate safely, efficiently, and competitively. That's why it's critical for lawmakers to hear firsthand from the people who keep Washington moving. 

Together, we can advocate for practical policies that strengthen our industry, improve highway safety, invest in essential infrastructure, and ensure a resilient supply chain for generations to come. 

Event Logistics

Morning Meet-Up:
Please plan to arrive at the WTA Office between 7:30 AM and 7:45 AM.

• Free parking is available in the WTA parking lot or along the side of the building in the cul-de-sac. (Parking spots that have bldg #'s are reserved for those bldgs only)
• A light breakfast will be provided.
• A complimentary shuttle will begin transporting groups to the Capitol Campus.

Meetings Begin:
Legislative meetings may begin as early as 8:00 AM.

Wrap-Up Social

After a full day on the Hill, please join us for a non-hosted Happy Hour at:

Nicole’s Bar – Downtown Olympia
Beginning at 4:00 PM (or whenever your meetings conclude).
