Join the WTA Technology and Maintenance Council webinar on July 17th at 10:00 am for a presentation by Brandon Boyd from the Washington Stormwater Center, to learn about the Industrial Stormwater General Permit as proposed and its expanded impacts on the trucking industry. 

Brandon Boyd serves as Industrial Stormwater Permit assistance lead with the Washington Stormwater Center. In this role, he focuses on equipping permittees statewide with the necessary tools and resources to enhance their understanding of stormwater permits and best management practices. Brandon has also been a part of the Stormwater Center’s Low Impact Development research group at WSU-Puyallup where he played a pivotal role in conducting research and outreach initiatives related to stormwater treatment and best management practices. 

Brandon and the Stormwater Center team are a great free resource for all your stormwater needs. Brandon will present on the new Industrial Stormwater General Permit (ISGP) that is set to go into effect in January 2025. This permit will have significant changes for those in the transportation and trucking industry. In this presentation you can expect to learn about: The basic building blocks of the ISGP The major changes proposed for the 2025 ISGP reissuance Impacts of the 2025 ISGP on the Trucking Industry, including: Expanded definition of who needs a permit for the Transportation Sector New stormwater sampling requirements Expanded training and recordkeeping requirements.
