SMC Summer Field Trip & July General Membership Meeting
Join the Washington Trucking Associations' Safety Management Council (SMC) for our annual Summer Field Trip and July General Membership Meeting at Commercial Driver School (CDS Truck School) in Lakewood.
The event begins with lunch and networking at 11:30 a.m. (pizza provided by the SMC), followed by an interactive campus tour from 12:00–1:00 p.m. that will serve as the July General Membership Meeting.
During the tour, attendees will get a behind-the-scenes look at Commercial Driver School's training facilities, learn about its Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) program and workforce development initiatives, and discover how the school is preparing the next generation of professional truck drivers.
